They are the official successors of the first blue jeans. Because it was the traditional brand itself, who once invented the famous rivets. It all started when Levi Strauss, born in Bavaria, tried his luck in 1853 in San Francisco. In a textile shop, he sold first commercially available work clothes. To offer the gold diggers more robust pants, he invented in 1873, finally, the blue jeans, which is still one of the most popular garments in the fashion world. Since its origins hardly anything has changed. So have remained the firm cotton cloth and the characteristic rivets. Unlike in the past, however, Levi’s jeans are available in numerous designs today.
