They are among the basics that should not be missing in any wardrobe and are actually always the secret star of any look: the long cardigans. For the transition period, the fashionable companions are just the thing, because they keep warm and are still supertrendy.
Long cardigans: warm and figure-flattering
If it’s not cold enough for parka and anorak, but do not warm up your t-shirt or light longsleeve, then the long cardigan has a great look. Quickly pulled over, it completes your spring or fall look and gives you an extra layer of warmth. But even in winter, it is still wonderfully portable, if you just wear it instead of a sweater.
Long cardigans reach over the hips and, depending on the cut, can also cover the buttocks. This makes this outerwear a real figure flatterer, because it conceals small problem areas and optically stretches the body a little through its long, flowing cut, instead of visually interrupting the silhouette in the middle of the body, as can be the case with shorter models.
Different cuts, colors and patterns – so much variety is possible
Long-cut cardigans can be found with buttons, zips, shawl cuffs, wrap-arounds or simply to be worn open. Even more diverse than the cuts are the patterns and colors that you can choose from. Classic long-sleeved cardigans can be worn over a blouse to dress in the office trousers or combine into evening wear. In contrast, more colorful and sophisticated models with dots, stripes, ethnic patterns or fringe trimming suit every type of leisure wear. Whether with a waterfall collar, sequin details or flared peplum, long cardigans can be a wonderful eye-catcher in your outfit and at the same time still have an advantageous effect on your figure.
